well for starters look in some pb teen magazines or the website. the rooms the show are really cool and have nice furniture and and other shit.
my room has a memo board with a pair of broken sunglasses, a bunch of pictures of like lil wayne. Mia. sublime. stuff like that... I have a few pictures of me and my friendsand.... yeah...
try getting some pillows that match your bed set/room colors.
I don't like posters but do like unique paintings/art work. if you like then u can but I think posters look kinda trashy.

shelves.... i think having shelves on the wall really brings out the umm... uhh.. idk but I think shelves with books or collectable items and toys things jawns are cool.

I am ashamed to say I can't think of anything else (I am usually the emperor of randomness) but it dose sound like it would be the awesome-est room as it is. Top marks for random awesomeness.
